How to Get a Library Card

Would you like a library borrower's card? You are eligible for a free one if you...

·         Live within the city limits of Boynton Beach at least 3 months of the year

·         Live in the unincorporated area of Palm Beach County at least 3 months of the year

·         Live in a city that belongs to The Library Cooperative of the Palm Beaches (Lantana, Lake Worth, West Palm Beach, Delray Beach, Lake Park, etc.) for at least 3 months

·         Are a student in the Palm Beach County Schools - elementary through high school

·         Own or rent a business in the city limits of Boynton Beach

·         Are an employee of the City of Boynton Beach

Bring identification containing your name and current Florida address.
One of the following is acceptable:

·         Driver's License

·         Voter's Registration

·         Utility Bill

·         Auto Registration

·         Property Tax Bill

·         Lease/Deed Printed Checks

In the case of a high school student we will also accept:

·         School I.D

·         School Library Card

·         Report Card

For Children and Young Adults: 

·         Children in kindergarten through eighth grade must be able to print their own name and come in with a parent or legal guardian who have photo identification with current address.
