On Thursday, April 29, fans of all ages are invited to the program room from 6:30 – 8:00 P.M. for a special program and celebration. The Nancy Drew 80th Anniversary program will be presented by Library Archivist and Nancy Drew aficionado Janet DeVries. Nancy Drew books, collectibles and memorabilia from several decades will be on display. Learn about some of the ghostwriters of the Nancy Drew books and the Stratemeyer Syndicate. The public is invited to dress up as their favorite Nancy Drew book character and to bring items from their own collection for a show & tell session. Door prizes will be awarded and a Nancy Drew trivia contest will be conducted at the beginning of the program. Like all Boynton Beach City


Library programs, admission is free.  “Hop in your roadster” and join in the Nancy Drew party at the library.

In conjunction with the popular book series 80th Anniversary, the library has several exhibit cases showcasing vintage books and memorabilia. The exhibits are on both floors of the library and continue though May 25. Included in the displays are various books and collectibles, including a Nancy Drew doll, ornament, jewelry, purse and various foreign editions of the Nancy Drew books.
